No previous musical experience needed
If you’ve never sung before or played any instruments, don’t worry! We can teach you how to sing with our professional, trained musicians. We’ll make sure you improve your singing while enjoying yourself every week.
We know it can be scary to sing in front of people so that’s why we’ll never make you sing on your own. You’ll always sing in groups, with friendly people supporting you.
Escape your day-to-day
With increasing loneliness and anxiety, you can find a safe space to be yourself & connect with others at our choir. Get support from like-minded people who genuinely care about you and find yourself again.
"Great collaboration of like-minded people who enjoy singing and it’s a place to have fun forget your troubles and share the joy of music - but in particular the choir host who is very talented and engaging and super funny!"

About the Harlow choir group
The Harlow Choir is just a few months old! The choir has accomplished so much already! We've learned a variety of songs and raised a significant amount of money for charity. Not only that, but we've also formed new friendships and connections within our choir family. We're excited to welcome new members and continue making beautiful music together.
"I’d recommend everything... sharing our love of music with each other, making new friends and feeling part of something rather special. Raising money is always a great thing to do, too"

A message from your choir leader
My name is Josh Gernon and I am the Buskerteers Choir Leader for Bishop's Stortford, Great Dunmow, Harlow and Saffron Walden.
I've been a professional musician for many years. I've travelled all over the world performing at many different shows, corporate events and weddings.

I'm very excited to welcome you into our choir and to take you on an amazing musical journey. We'll be learning songs and performing on stage together, and trying to raise as much money for charity as we can with our busking and performing.
I can't wait to meet you! Have a listen to my performance in the meantime.
